Hello, I am Donna Roman Hernandez. I have always been passionate about writing and storytelling. Writing has always been a hobby until I realized that I had something valuable to share with the world. I would describe myself as a curious Author, Director, and Filmmaker who loves exploring different themes, genres, and ideas. As part of my writing process, I love immersing myself in my projects—diving headfirst into the research, production, and fine-tuning of the stories I feel are the most worthy of telling. It’s incredibly hard work, but I am never happier than when I sit down at my desk putting the opening words to a new book or story on paper.

She describes in detail how one extreme act of violence by her father had near fatal consequences. Her story of victimization is heartbreaking but her survivorship and journey to recovery is inspirational and educational.
